ARC Hazel Hills

Hazel Hills is a detox and residential facility exclusively for women that specializes in addressing substance use disorders. This center employs a holistic treatment model, featuring CARF-accredited clinical programs and medical care overseen by an addiction specialist. With a foundation built on Christian principles, Hazel Hills incorporates 12-Step resources and chaplaincy support throughout its offerings, as well as vocational training programs. The initial phase of their four-phase treatment plan emphasizes the safe elimination of substances from the body while crafting a customized care strategy. Upon arrival, medical professionals conduct comprehensive physical and psychological evaluations to customize the treatment experience. The medical detox process is designed to provide a secure and monitored setting for individuals withdrawing from substances, with medication-assisted treatment available as necessary. The residential component at Hazel Hills follows a Christian and holistic framework, emphasizing a comprehensive approach that nurtures the entire individual—mind, body, and spirit. Clients have round-the-clock access to addiction specialists. They partake in evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions aimed at recognizing triggers and cultivating effective coping mechanisms. Additionally, Hazel Hills hosts AA, NA, and Celebrate Recovery meetings, allowing clients the option to move to an intensive outpatient program with sober living arrangements for ongoing care that offers greater flexibility. In the second and third phases, the focus shifts to fostering peer support and equipping clients with tangible skills needed for re-entering the workforce or academic environments. Hazel Hills also offers spiritual life programs, continued individual and group therapy, as well as 12-Step meetings. Life skills development encompasses targeted job training and educational opportunities. During the final treatment phase, clients have access to an internship program designed to enhance practical life skills. Upon successful completion of their program, participants are awarded a Health and Human Services certificate from Sullivan University, which can be applied toward a two-year associate or four-year bachelor’s degree program.

The primary focus of this center is on addressing substance use disorders. It assists individuals in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and connecting them with supportive care.
