Eagle Creek Treatment Center, operated by Addiction Recovery Care (ARC), presents a dedicated and thorough program tailored for women grappling with addiction challenges. With a holistic focus, this approach aims to support the individual as a whole—addressing mental, physical, and spiritual health. The program commences with thorough assessments, medical stabilization, and residential support, ensuring consistent assistance throughout various phases of recovery. Offerings at Eagle Creek encompass medical care, both individual and group therapy sessions, spiritual guidance, 12-Step facilitation, wellness activities, and career development resources. A distinctive aspect of Eagle Creek is its robust vocational training initiatives. By blending drug rehabilitation with career preparation, ARC's Crisis to Career strategy empowers those facing substance use issues to transition back into the workforce successfully, fostering meaningful and productive lifestyles. This initiative features skill-building workshops alongside practical training avenues, including the Peer Support Specialist Program (PSSP) and Second Chance Automotive. The PSSP equips individuals in recovery to mentor others struggling with substance use. It encompasses training in recovery methods, clinical approaches, essential life skills, and health and safety practices, allowing graduates to achieve Kentucky Peer Support Specialist status and earn up to 28 college credits. An innovative element is the Creative Arts PSSP, which integrates artistic forms like theater and music to enrich both peer support and the recovery journey. At Eagle Creek, treatment follows a four-phase model, starting with medically supervised detoxification and personalized treatment strategies. The second phase is dedicated to comprehensive residential care that includes therapeutic sessions aimed at resolving underlying challenges and enhancing coping mechanisms. During the third phase, clients continue to receive therapeutic assistance while embarking on vocational training to facilitate their reintegration into the job market. The final phase features an internship opportunity that allows clients to practice their skills in a practical environment.
