ARC Lexington Counseling Center

The Lexington Counseling Center, which is a branch of Addiction Recovery Care, provides outpatient programs featuring both individual and group therapy, 12-Step meetings, Celebrate Recovery sessions, peer support, targeted case management, and medically assisted treatment (MAT). They offer intensive outpatient programs (IOP) with adaptable scheduling to accommodate clients who do not require medically supervised detox. In a typical day within the IOP, clients engage in a blend of individual and group therapy sessions customized to meet their specific needs. Evidence-based treatments and faith-oriented support meetings, such as Celebrate Recovery, are vital components of the program. Additionally, vocational training is included to help clients acquire essential job skills. Peer support and targeted case management are central to the daily routine, with classes available three to five days per week at various times throughout the day. The center's distinctive offerings include immediate appointment availability, vocational training, and job placement assistance, all aimed at helping clients return to their daily lives with clear goals. The vocational training program focuses on providing necessary job skills that enhance employability and promote sustained recovery. This training includes various practical skills aligned with individual interests and local job market needs. Clients can also practice resume writing, interview techniques, computer literacy, and specific trade skills such as carpentry, culinary arts, or customer service. Their faith-guided approach incorporates spiritual care services, support from a chaplain, and faith-centered recovery meetings like AA and Celebrate Recovery.
