Clinica Family Health & Wellness - Boulder Strong Community Center

Clinica Family Health & Wellness, the result of a partnership between Clinica Family Health and Mental Health Partners, offers a comprehensive range of physical, mental, and oral health services for individuals across all ages, with specialized options for seniors aged 65 and over, as well as young adults between 15 and 29. Established in 2021, Clinica's Boulder Strong Resource Center was created in the aftermath of the Table Mesa King Soopers shooting and has developed significant expertise in supporting first responders and community members impacted by the incident. Their programs target various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and substance use disorders. By adopting a community-focused strategy, they strive to make services accessible and culturally sensitive, irrespective of a person's financial situation or immigration status. The center utilizes evidence-based therapeutic methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, medication management, and peer support services. They offer both individual and group therapy, as well as psychiatric consultations and wellness initiatives. Clinica provides a 24/7 walk-in crisis center designed to assist individuals in immediate distress, including those contemplating suicide or self-harm. The Boulder Strong Resource Center is conveniently located near the Baseline Road and 30th Street bus stop. In-person services are available from Tuesday to Thursday, between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Virtual appointments can also be arranged from Monday to Thursday during the same hours and on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The center specializes in the treatment of mental health disorders alongside concurrent substance use issues. Here, clients benefit from personalized, team-based care that focuses on both aspects, promoting comprehensive healing.

We welcome a range of insurance providers including Medicaid, Medicare, Anthem, Cigna, Humana, Kaiser Permanente, Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP), TRICARE, and United Healthcare. Clients with Medicaid or Medicare can enjoy comprehensive coverage for the majority of our services. Additionally, we provide financial support options for eligible individuals.
