The center features three distinct approaches: a residential program exclusively for men, a virtual coaching initiative for families, and a virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) available for both adult men and women. The men’s residential program is situated in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and is particularly beneficial for males whose previous treatment attempts have not yielded positive results. This program emphasizes a specific focus and environment, incorporating trauma-informed practices alongside medical and psychiatric care, psychotherapy, physical fitness, and overall wellness. The Michael Barnes Family Institute delivers a web-based program aimed at improving family communication skills. It combines a structured curriculum of coaching and group interactions to help families cope with the impact of addictive behaviors effectively. Adults can take part in the intensive telemedicine program, which adheres to the trauma-integrated care approach developed by Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Michael Barnes. This offering enables secure telemedicine access while maintaining confidentiality, featuring both individual and group therapy options.
