Millard Counseling Center, a component of Addiction Recovery Care, provides outpatient services that encompass both individual and group therapy, as well as 12-Step and Celebrate Recovery sessions. Additionally, the center offers peer support, tailored case management, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are available with flexible scheduling for clients who do not require medically supervised detoxification. In a typical day within the IOP, clients engage in a combination of individual and group therapy sessions that are customized to fit their unique needs. Evidence-based therapeutic practices and faith-oriented support groups, such as Celebrate Recovery, are integral to the program. Furthermore, vocational training sessions are included to help clients develop essential job-related skills. Daily schedules also incorporate peer support and focused case management. Classes are structured to be available for 3 or 5 days each week, with options for morning, afternoon, and evening attendance. Distinctive features of the center encompass the availability of same-day care appointments and a comprehensive vocational training initiative aimed at assisting clients in their reintegration efforts with clear career goals. This program focuses on imparting crucial job skills tailored to individual interests and the demands of the labor market. Participants can refine their resume writing and interview skills, as well as acquire computer abilities or specialized trades like carpentry, culinary arts, or customer service. With a strong foundation in faith, the center's approach includes spiritual care programs, chaplain support, and faith-based recovery options like AA and Celebrate Recovery. These initiatives foster a sense of dependence on a higher power, reflecting Christian principles.
