About

New Vista's residential program at The Schwartz Center caters to adults grappling with opioid addiction, including those beginning medication-assisted treatment and those with co-occurring mental health issues. Their 28-day short-term program creates a supportive, individualized atmosphere that is non-judgmental and features distinct, distraction-free zones for men and women, all aimed at fostering a successful recovery journey. The treatment methodology is tailored to meet individual requirements and includes a well-organized daily routine comprising group and one-on-one counseling, family therapy, and educational workshops. Participants gain valuable insights into addiction while cultivating vital coping mechanisms and daily living skills necessary for maintaining a life without substance abuse. The residential environment at The Schwartz Center provides dedicated living areas, accommodating 12 men and 12 women. Their program ensures transportation for important engagements such as court appearances or medical visits. Following residential treatment, clients have access to intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and outpatient therapy, which focus on skills development, relapse prevention, coping techniques, and case management to enhance the likelihood of sustained recovery.
