Bellewood and Brooklawn Bellewood Campus

Bellewood & Brooklawn’s Bellewood Campus is dedicated to providing therapeutic services for children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 who have faced trauma, emotional difficulties, or challenging family environments. The center, which caters to youth referred by the state of Kentucky, offers both short-term and long-term assistance through its Private Child Care (PCC) and Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) programs. Every child receives tailored mental health support, which includes individual and group therapy sessions, family engagement, and assistance with various issues such as aggression, impulse control, depression, bipolar disorder, and ADHD, among others. The center implements an effective Psycho-Educational Model designed to equip youth with skills to regulate their behavior, enhance self-esteem, and prepare for reintegration into home or community life. Residents are accommodated in family-style cottages set within a serene, wooded environment. Their daily routine features therapy sessions, schooling at the on-site Jefferson County public school, family meetings, and activities aimed at skill development. The staff provides unwavering support, ensuring that each child feels secure, valued, and ready to embark on their personal growth journey.

At this center, we focus on addressing both mental health disorders and concurrent substance use issues. Our approach involves personalized treatment plans that promote comprehensive healing for the entire individual.
