Established in 1989, Ramey-Estep provides an extensive array of therapeutic programs tailored for adolescents and their families. Catering to both males and females aged 12-17, the center offers services such as residential care, foster care treatment, educational support, substance misuse treatment, therapy, and in-home assistance. Ramey-Estep emphasizes a consistent environment, fostering counseling, educational growth, skills development, and support for building healthy relationships. Employing an evidence-based methodology, treatments are administered by licensed clinicians holding advanced degrees. Therapeutic approaches utilized include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Strengthening Families, and Yoga for Resiliency, among others. The primary objective of Ramey-Estep’s programs is to empower young individuals with the skills and education necessary to thrive as responsible members of society. Additionally, the center offers specialized programs for pregnant and parenting teenagers, as well as tailored services for youth at risk of or affected by human trafficking. This includes discharge planning and on-site educational opportunities to support these vulnerable individuals. Ramey-Estep is recognized as a CARF-accredited treatment facility.
