ARC Riverplace

Riverplace is a detox and residential facility exclusively for men, specializing in the treatment of substance use disorders. The center employs a holistic approach that features CARF-accredited clinical services and medical care overseen by an addiction specialist. Rooted in Christian principles, Riverplace incorporates 12-Step support and offers chaplaincy services, alongside vocational training programs. The first phase of their four-phase approach is centered on detoxification, focusing on eliminating substances from the system and developing personalized treatment plans. Upon admission, medical staff conduct physical and psychological assessments to customize care. The medically supervised detox ensures a secure setting for clients withdrawing from drugs or alcohol, with medication-assisted therapy provided when necessary. Riverplace's residential services are driven by a holistic, Christian-centered philosophy that aims to address the comprehensive needs of each individual—mind, body, and spirit. Continuous support from addiction specialists is available around the clock, and clients participate in evidence-based individual and group counseling to identify personal triggers and learn effective coping mechanisms. The center facilitates meetings for AA, NA, and Celebrate Recovery. Graduates can transition to an intensive outpatient program, which includes sober living arrangements for ongoing support and flexibility. In phases two and three, the focus shifts to fostering peer support and equipping clients with practical skills for reintegration into work and education. Riverplace offers continued spiritual guidance, individual and group therapy, and ongoing 12-Step meetings. Development of life skills includes targeted job training and educational resources. In the final phase, participants engage in an internship program designed to enhance essential life skills. Successful completion of the program awards clients a Health and Human Services certificate from Sullivan University, which can lead into Sullivan’s associate or bachelor’s degree programs.
