About
Robert Alexander Center for Recovery (RAC) is dedicated to delivering thorough, evidence-based care that transforms the addiction treatment landscape. Situated on 10 serene acres in Mt. Washington, one of Kentucky's most secure locations, RAC provides a tranquil and safe environment for individuals embarking on their healing journeys. The center is driven by a heartfelt mission to create a significant impact on those affected by addiction, both in Kentucky and further afield.
At RAC, clients can detox as necessary under skilled clinical supervision, supported by a compassionate team of nurses and doctors who ensure comfort throughout the process. The center offers cozy living spaces, housekeeping services, televisions, and personalized daily counseling to enhance the recovery experience. After detoxification, clients participate in individual counseling sessions three times weekly, complemented by six hours of group therapy each day, which fosters a rich environment for healing and support.
RAC emphasizes custom-tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client rather than employing a generic approach. This allows the team to effectively tackle the underlying issues contributing to addiction. The center provides a range of evidence-based and holistic therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), 12-Step programs, family counseling, art and music therapy, and neurofeedback.
Combining exceptional facilities with expert care, the Robert Alexander Center for Recovery features modern, luxurious accommodations, semi-private rooms, recreational options, copper tub therapy, an on-site cafe, and flat-screen televisions, creating a distinctive treatment experience. With over 25 years of cumulative expertise in addiction treatment and life enhancement, the dedicated staff at RAC is committed to assisting individuals facing substance use challenges and co-occurring mental health issues. The center also offers an Alumni Program to support ongoing recovery.
