Stone Lodge by Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) provides a tailored, all-encompassing program specifically designed for men struggling with addiction. The facility takes a holistic approach, focusing on the individual as a whole—addressing mental, physical, and spiritual aspects. The program starts with thorough assessments, medical stabilization, and residential care, ensuring ongoing support throughout the recovery journey. At Stone Lodge, services include medical care, one-on-one and group therapy, spiritual guidance, 12-Step participation, wellness initiatives, and job-related training. A standout aspect of Stone Lodge is its broad vocational training offerings. By pioneering the connection between drug rehabilitation and employment skills development, ARC's Crisis to Career model empowers those with substance use challenges to successfully reintegrate into the workforce, leading to fulfilling lives. This includes skill enhancement workshops and practical training initiatives, such as the Peer Support Specialist Program (PSSP) and Second Chance Automotive. The Peer Support Specialist Program (PSSP) at Stone Lodge equips individuals in recovery to assist others facing substance use issues. The curriculum covers recovery methods, clinical knowledge, essential life skills, and health protocols. Graduates can achieve the status of Kentucky Peer Support Specialists and earn up to 28 college credits. A unique element of this program is the creative arts segment, which utilizes theater and music to bolster peer support and promote recovery. Second Chance Automotive offers hands-on vocational training to individuals in recovery, training them to become certified automotive technicians. This initiative synergizes addiction recovery with practical skills acquisition, allowing participants to gain valuable experience in car repair. The program at Stone Lodge aids in the seamless transition from recovery to stable employment, enabling graduates to lead productive lives. Since its inception in 2016, over 80% of participants have secured jobs and maintained their recovery, showcasing the program's success in promoting lasting positive outcomes.
